Diane von Furstenberg is the latest individual who has promised to donate half her fortune to charity as part of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett's "Giving Pledge" initiative.
The pledge encourages America's richest families to donate half their earnings throughout their lifetime or after they die to support a charity of their choosing.
