I admit, I listen to radio shows...both podcasts, and like, on the
actual radio (what of it ;). In particular, one of my weekend rituals is
to listen to NPR's media quiz show "Wait Wait Don't Tell me", collected stories on "This American Life", and the live story telling show "The Moth".
Every week, real stories are shared live across the country, some
funny, some sad, all real moments of life we can relate too. Often times
famous authors and personalities take a turn on stage, and tickets are
available to shows everywhere. This past week bon vivant Simon Doonan shared a great story
about love and marriage to his partner, designer Jonathan Adler that is
worth a listen. Do yourself a favor and take the time while you prep
breakfast next weekend to tune in.
