June 6th marks the 15th anniversary of the premiere of Sex and the City. And oh, how the shows many puns on love and life have meant so much to so many. It’s as culturally relevant as ever, and Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda have become regular references accross America (and beyond). For me in particular - being a writer, named Carrie, living in NYC - the parallels were endless, and I still get the "Bradshaw" label from others now and again. I suspect all women can find parts of themselves in all four characters, it was always a relief to identify with one of their many crazy adventures in friendship and love, feeling a little less alone. Happy Anniversary Ladies, you are aging like a fine wine! (Well...mostly ;)
