A Canadian Summer Adventure with The New Yorker
This summer promises to be a fabulous merger of two things I love: The New Yorker + Canada. "What the what?" you may ask. I know. It is almost too good to be true for this Canadian who has lived these 10+ years in NYC. I will be festival hopping across my homeland, blogging and contributing multimedia, with The New Yorker in collaboration with the Canadian Tourism Commission. Montreal & Toronto to the Okanagan, Calgary to PEI, follow my adventures starting June 1 AND enter to win a big fancy festival trip of your own on www.facebook.com/KeepExploring And of course, remember to connect with us on twitter @Stylegroove @Keep_Exploring @NewYorker

White House Correspondent's Dinner
The genius that was both Seth Meyers and President Obama's speeches over the weekend at the annual White House Correspondent's dinner speaks for itself, which you have not doubt seen already. But I am posting this now as a reminder of the upcoming Launch Party for Futures Global (a new program from human trafficking activist, Somaly Mam), which Seth is hosting. This is indeed a great event in New York on May 17th for a great cause so buy your tickets now! http://bit.ly/jVvdmy

Met Ball & Alexander McQueen
Run, don't walk, to the new Alexander McQueen "Savage Beauty" exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. It's magnificent and it really needs to be seen by fashion lovers and non-fashion lovers alike. Of course, the annual Met Ball kicked of the special event last night, so view the red carpet looks here.
