Fashion: Matthew Williamson

From New York Magazine: British designer Matthew Williamson, who made little brush bristles look pretty at London Fashion Week this season, is launching a diffusion line! "Muse by Matthew Williamson" is the working title, and it's set to launch for fall 2011. Better yet, it might even have clothes that people can afford, or at least only blow half their month's rent on instead of half the year's paycheck (the label's current price points run between $625 for a peasant top and $8,000 for a cocktail dress). Williamson has done a mass-market line for the U.K. department store Debenhams, but this is his first time making more affordable pieces within his label.
