Well, well. We were wondering what was going into the old Biography Book Shop on Bleecker street, which recently closed after 20 years. Continuing his real estate domination of our west village neighborhood (he has 5 stores in the area), Marc Jacobs is opening a new store in the space ... and it's actually a book store, tentatively called "Book Marc". This week, gold lettering went up in the windows at 400 Bleecker Street promising "a bookstore will be opening here--Winter 2010."
